Activating Google Pay in Zru is very simple. It is enabled directly from the Checkout editor.
- Go to the panel and navigate to Optimization / Checkouts.
- Open the Checkout where you want to activate it, or create a new one.
- In the Methods tab, under the Quick Payments section, enable the Google Pay toggle.
Google Pay requires at least one Card payment method configured in the Checkout.
From this moment, the Google Pay option will be available for your customers on that Checkout.
Zru will handle the 3DS & SCA automatically.
Google Pay allows you to obtain the user's card in two ways:
- tokenized card that includes 3DS information, which is normally accepted by the issuer without the need for a second verification. This option will only be active on some issuers.
- PAN, which is sent to the issuer and similar steps are performed as if the user had written the card.
All merchants must adhere to the Google Pay APIs Acceptable Use Policy and accept the terms defined in the Google Pay API Terms of Service.
